Practice
Practice within the Lovefield project has two closely related purposes: exploration and application. Exploration seeks new possibilities, deepens understanding of the interactions encountered through energy work and develops new approaches. Application draws on existing experience, knowledge and abilities to serve a concrete purpose, such as helping someone heal, release unwanted states or feel better.
The work documented here comes from Denis Pingin's practice with people and natural surroundings, including public places and events. The published experiences offer ways to encounter this work and consider it from different perspectives.
How the practice works
Inner state, intention, attention and movement guide how a practitioner enters an interaction and responds as it unfolds. The work can focus on the practitioner's own state, another person, a group, the surroundings or the relationships between them.
An encounter can include both exploration and application. A practitioner can draw on a familiar approach while exploring an unfamiliar response. What the practitioner perceives, what participants describe and what can be observed or recorded help inform how the practice develops.
In direct work with a person, the practitioner brings a deliberately cultivated quality of love to the encounter. The person's experience and feedback help guide the work. Touch can also be part of the interaction, with their consent.
People have also described experiences in Denis's presence when he was not deliberately working with them. Those accounts raise questions about the person, the setting and the interaction.
The introductory Education guide explains attention, inner state, movement, interaction and reflection in more detail.
Private sessions
Private sessions offer an opportunity to experience practical energy work with me and explore your own response: what you notice, how it feels, and whether you find it personally useful.
After you request a private session, we can arrange a free 15-minute introductory call. This call is only to understand what you are looking for and what I can offer as a practitioner. It is separate from the actual energy-work session. Together, we can clarify what you need and what form of session fits you best.
If we decide that a session could be useful, we can explore it over video or in person, depending on what we want to work with. Some aspects of the work can be experienced over video, while others are best experienced in person. If you are in Zurich or nearby, or would like to visit, we can arrange a personal meeting. Otherwise, we can explore what works for both of us remotely.
Private sessions may be offered as a personal benefit to particular people who support the Lovefield Project, as one way I can give something back for what their support makes possible. Because the project is still in an early phase, I can currently make more room for personal exchange than I expect to be able to later. Support remains voluntary and does not create an entitlement to a session.
Experiences
Accounts and recordings preserve each occasion in its context. Explore the experiences, including wind, water and cloud forms and waterbending on a mountain river.
Effects catalogue
The effects catalogue is in preparation. It will bring together individual effects with links to the experiences in which they were reported.
Take part
Your experience can help deepen understanding of the practice and shape the questions we investigate. Describe what you felt or noticed, how the encounter unfolded and what it meant to you, in your own words.
The natural encounter experience study we are preparing would bring people's accounts together for scientific investigation. Its invitation will explain how to take part when it opens, and we intend to share what we learn with participants and others.
If you would like to discuss practical work, offer a place or useful equipment, or contribute your skills, get in touch. You can also follow project updates as further work and opportunities develop.
